Mbi commercial property inspectors
Meet the backbone of MBI Inspections. The family-owned company has two commercial property inspectors and a property inspection report writer. Our team is experienced in building science and inspection services. In addition, we are certified in numerous inspection and building science backgrounds. This ensures all the experience you’ll need to get your inspection done right.
Owner, Founder, and Lead Commercial Property Inspector
Victoria Morris first entered the construction industry in 1979. Then, she worked as a framing foreman and electrician’s assistant. In those two roles, she worked on condos and multi-building apartment complexes. Over the next several years, she expanded, such as numerous custom builds and remodels for historic buildings.
Victoria attended university and earned her B.S. in bioanalytical science. However, her affinity for the building trades led her elsewhere. Eventually, she became Municipal Building Inspector for two Minnesotan cities. As the owner of MBI Inspections, she leads as commercial property inspector.
Now, she has performed over a 1,000 residential and commercial inspections. In addition to conducting national commercial property assessments, Victoria is also entrusted with the management of two historic buildings and a 200,000 sq. ft. condominium building facility project.
Contract Technical Writer and Web Developer
Brandon works on Property Condition Reports and research. Additionally, he writes content for the MBI blog and news.
Initially, he went through his undergrad in pursuits of architecture. Instead, he obtained an A.A.S. in architectural technology where he studied building systems and design. Now, he has a B.S. in technical communication and writing.
He enjoys editing and writing as much as he enjoys observing architectural styles throughout the country.
Commercial Property Inspector Technician
Michael Morris is a second-generation commercial property inspector technician, working alongside Victoria on every assessment Minnesota Building Inspections conducts.
Michael is currently responsible for on-site data collection and the evaluation of mechanical components such as HVAC units, electrical systems, and plumbing systems. Michael has trained under Victoria’s tutelage since the company was first founded in 2009, becoming a full-time technician in 2016.
